About
Griselda is a Melbourne (Naarm) based artist. She graduated from RMIT in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specialising in ceramics. Her works are both sculptural and functional, using handbuilding techniques to focus on organic forms and soft textures.
Griselda’s work is influenced by her relationships and personal surroundings, using the familiar to create abstracted forms.
Throughout her degree Griselda created large scale artworks, predominantly using porcelain.
Since graduating she has shifted her practice to focus on smaller scale vessels designed for the home, which she makes and fires in her studio.
